On-tap 2/13/08 at the brewpub, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light golden brown color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of citrus and caramelized malts, along with lager yeast and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out malty and a little spicy with some flavors of caramel and citrus, then a bitter burst of hops comes in. However, the flavors don't seem very harmonious. The after-taste is slightly bitter.
M: Crisp with only a little smoothness, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is very dry.
D: Not very tasty, doesn't go down too easy, not too filling, mild kick, not the best representation of style, this is one that I would not want to drink again.
