Off the tap this beer was a hazy honey gold color with some amber highlights. The head was a tan skim that displayed ok retention and acceptable lacing in thin sheets. The aroma was of floral hops, pale malt, toasted malt and hints of caramel malt. The flavors were strange for the style, pale malt, light toasted malt and a bitter hoppy finish. The mouthfeel was soft but watery, the body medium and the carbonation light. An ok beer but the toasted elements were understated and it was not a good example of a Marzen.
