Off a tap this beer was a perfectly clear orange/amber color. The tiny beige collar displayed ok retention but weak lacing. The aroma was very dry, lightly hoppy and had hints of wood in it. The flavors were also dry and grainy. Starting with caramel malt and some other malt sweetness it then went into the dry middle with some Altbier style hoppiness that also added a touch of citrus rind bitterness. The mouthfeel was soft, the body medium and the carbonation frothy. Acidic, definitely European in style and a nice beverage to pair with food.
