It poured an ugly, cloudy orange/tan color with a soapy white head that stuck around and left ok lacing.
The aroma was interesting. Sweet potato, tart strawberries, and other interesting funky fruity notes. Earthy, funky esters from the yeast.
The flavor is off putting, with metallic and medicinal, herbal notes clashing against fruity funk of saison yeast, tart strawberries and unsweetened, earthy sweet potatos. Didn't really work out for me.
A little chalky, thin, and water.
Overall, not their best beer. I wouldn't order it again. If I were them, I wouldn't brew it again.
