Drank from a can purchased at Fort Point Market, Boston, MA
Served in a tulip
The beer poured a bright crimson red with no head and no lacing. Somewhat shimmery and viscous in the glass. Very reminiscent of Hawaiian Punch.
The aroma was also incredibly similar to Hawaiian Punch. Fruit punch dominated. The cherry ice cream was noticeable as well. Super fruity and sweet. Slightly medicinal. Canned pineapple was detectable too.
The flavor profile was identical to the nose. Fruit punch dominated from start to finish. Really sugary and sweet. Cherry was noticeable in the center. Slightly tart and tangy. Some pineapple appeared on the back end and in the finish. Cloying fruity notes lingered after the swallow.
The mouthfeel was medium bodied and somewhat watery. The liquid contained a super fine and mellow effervescence that made this seem even more fruit punch like.
As a forty-six year old man, I tend not to like sugar-laden fruit punches, so this beer definitely did not appeal to me. That said, it nailed the Hawaiian Punch approach ridiculously well. I enjoyed splitting a can of this as a gag, but I would have been pretty upset if I dropped $28 on a four pack.

Everything about this beer is an homage to Hawaiian Punch, from the label to the finish. The nose smells punchy, and the flavors are punchy with a little sour bite.
