Had it on tap at Fifth Hammer Brewing tap room.
Pours a clear amber color with a distinct looking sunset orange hue. A modest head quickly dissipates as is customary with the style.
In the nose there is a pronounced barnyard funk, rustic and redolent of grass and hay. The presence of sour cherries balances things out, as does a slight lemon acidity.
Light bodied, exceedingly bone dry and with a stinging acidity. The carbonation also provides a strong effervescence and tingle. The lactic sourness can be intense, yet, the cherries take off the edge somewhat.
A decent representation of the style.
