An homage to classic American Pale Ales, this beer is brewed with three of the first American-bred hops: Cascade, Centennial, & Chinook. A bit high in alcohol for the style, but as sunny as a California afternoon.

Poured from a 32 ounce crowler into a Teku glass. Canned on 8 April 2018. "Retro American Pale"
4/4/4/4/4
A: Clear copper. Very light head. Some bubbles.
S: Pine, peach, grapefruit. Soft pine. West Coast ish.
T/M: Held up pretty well in the can. A bit sweeter, maybe, but still carbonated and spritely. A drying, biscuity finish is appropriate to the modest maltiness of the maintaste. The hops are piney, with candied citrus (especially grapefruit).
O: Well-balanced, bittersweet, and toothsome. Great pale.
