On-draught @ Fifth Hammer. $7 USD for a scant 12oz in a teku.
Lactobacillus bacteria is evident, with fruity notes of peach skin and tang. Not getting any overt cherry personally.
More bacterial intricacy would be nice (pediococcus, acetobacter, even vinegary acetic acid) but it's pleasantly tart and acidic, which plays well enough in combination with the lactobacillus sourness. About a 4/10 in terms of sourness intensity.
Mild floral hop character is noticeable.
Not a stellar sour ale, tasting more like a one-note lactobombed kettle sour, but it doesn't suffer from off flavours or faults. I'd like to see them incorporate more bacteria, get some microflora going, age it in oak barrels, and use enough cherries for that intended flavour to actually come through.
