Well put together. Not charred, so definitely a porter. Tell me more about Fifth Hammer.

Pours a dark brown, nearly black color with a creamy dark tan head. The head dissipates and displays a ring of lacing.
Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa powder, and nutty malts.
Smooth mouthfeel with a medium full body, along with a gentle carbonation. Throughout, the roasty qualities emit moderate bitterness, as well as a light acidity from the black malts. A subtle chocolate opens up a bit as the drink warms. The finish is smooth with a lightly bitter roasty quality.
It is really refreshing to enjoy a nice, smooth and balanced porter/stout that is sessionable and doesn’t hit you over the head with high ABV and boozy sweetness. Well done.
