On tap at Fifth Hammer, NYC.
Pours a golden orange color with a moderate frothy head, and foamy and powdery sprinkles of lacing.
In the nose, there are aromas of grapefruit zest. There are also notes of tart lime and candied orange.
As expected, there are flavors of grapefruit zest along with a piny spicy middle palate. Bright citrus hops flavors also include orange, tangerine and hints of lime. A nice hops kick provides old school west coast IPA bitterness.
Medium bodied, crisp and with a moderate and lively carbonation. The finish is dry.
Reminiscent of Grapefruit Sculpin. This is a nice West Coast IPA.
