From the can, it pours a clear golden color with visible carbonation. A moderate foam head retains well.

The nose allows the malt aromas to shine, with notes of bread, biscuit, cracker and honey. Oaky aromas evoke wood and vanilla, along with a touch of fruity and floral hops.

Opens with a malt sweetness that is bready and doughy with notes of honey. Well balanced by oaky flavors and a developing grassy and lemony hops spice. Likewise, the bitterness further develops, particularly in the finish that is spicy and dry. The palate becomes drier with a crisp cracker malt taste, peppery yeast and fruity/floral hops. Medium to light bodied, crisp and moderately carbonated.

Solid Pilsner all around, very tasty and easy to drink.

This one pours a just slightly hazy golden yellow, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like soft oak spice, lemony hops, bready malts, vanilla, grassy hops, and some pine bitterness.

I really like this, a lot. There's some nice oak spice and vanilla-ish sweetness. There's also a solid hop character- grassy, spicy, lemony, and very firm. There's some bready and not too sweet maltiness.

This is light bodied, crisp and very clean. I could drink quite a bit of this, and be very happy about that life.

I've been trying to drink more lagers during this whole lockdown thing so that I don't gain a million pounds. It's been really nice.

A: The beer is slightly hazy pale yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with lots of small specks of white bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy malts are present in the nose along with hints of oak.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the oaky flavors are a touch stronger and the grainy malts are somewhat more mellow with additional hints of bready malts. Only a faint amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked how the foeder aging lended some interesting dimensions to the smell and taste of this pilsner, which might have seemed a bit bland if just the base beer was used.
