Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a 02/20/2020, code MORE TROMBONE!
A: Pours an opaque, orange color (think Tropicana) with a nearly one finger, white hear, solid rim retention, and structural modest lacing.
S: Yeasty. Creamy nose that reminds me alternately of peaches and cream at first, papaya puree, and orange creamsicle aromas come through. Barley note at the back end.
T: Semisweet. Again, half the time I think I am drinking peaches and cream, the other half a orange creamsicle. Subtle, but present bitterness around the edges.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth and creamy, velvety even: really feels the same as the Papaya Drink Tropical Drink I remember from when I was a kid.
O: Absolutely gorgeous. Subtle fruitiness, creaminess, overall delicious goodness. The oat bill must have been huge. I shall be to first to say, Not Enough Trombone?
