This classic West Coast IPA was hopped with Cascade, Centennial, Chinook & Simcoe. This bright gold nectar pours crystal clear and is bitter at the core with a malt backbone to balance. Notes of citrus and pine and grapefruit divine. As Albert Einstein said, "If you want to know the future, look at the past". And so we brew and drink Western Waters and see a brighter, clearer future. We're in this for the win, friends. 2020 is almost over and future grows nearer.

A: The beer is relatively clear amber orange in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of piney and spicy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of orange citrus and herbal hops and underlying notes of caramel malts. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely tastes like a classic West Coast IPA has has a nice dose of hops and bitterness with a solid malty backbone.

Poured some into a small glass and had the rest in the 16oz can. Enjoyed about four weeks from canning.
Clear light to medium amber color with modest carbonation. Not much of a nose to it, a little bit of citrus and hop but generally pretty mild. Easy drinking. Pretty straight forward West Coast IPA with middle of the road hoppiness and light finish. Enjoyed it but was nothing particularly special.
