Introducing No Egrets, a 4% New York State Pale Ale brewed with NY State grown and malted grain from Hudson Valley Malt. No Egrets opens with a bouquet of floral, lemon and jasmine tea on the nose, followed by biscuity crackerlike maltiness with a touch of honey sweetness and soft fruity tones from the traditional English ale yeast. The compelling pale ale is subtly complex and finishes with a crisp, lightly bitter finish. Immensely drinkable and undeniably satisfying, Can label by Juren David.
This version of No Egrets was brought to us via a carbon neutral sail freight down the Hudson River on the Schooner Apollonia. Special thanks to Plaxall and Anable Basin for the use of their dock and space to accept the delivery.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left thick lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of jasmine tea and biscuit malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has ever so slight hints of sweetness from the malts along with additional hints of fruity yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly "chewy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This APA is definitely maltier compared to other beers in the style but is very easy to drink and has a lot of interesting complexities in the smell and taste.
