Desert Rain is a 4.8% Pilsner brewed with Bohemian floor malted Pilsner malt and a touch of spelt. We fermented Desert Rain with a traditional Pilsner yeast and lagered it for 5 weeks in an American Oak foeder, resulting in a crisp, smooth and delicious Pilsner. Notes of clean sweet malt, light florals and a hint of fresh cut grass form a complex subtlety balanced by a refreshing bitterness at the end of every swallow.

Smells a bit weedy on the nose and then you taste it and it's straight up skunk piss. Mouthfeel is nice, soft and easy-drinking, but something went wrong with this one. All's not lost, though: it makes a delightful Michelada if you bury the beer with hot sauce and worcestershire and pickled things.

16oz can from Half Time. Clear golden pour with a high, fluffy white head, lacing. Sweet, grainy aroma. Taste is grainy, smooth, malty, bready and clean with a slick mouth feel. Tasty.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visibile carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose along with notes of bready malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this pilsner to be very easy to drink.
