Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep obsidian topped by a finger of light sandstone foam. The nose comprises coffee, roast, light toast, light grapefruit pith, and a touch of dark stone fruits. The taste brings in more of the same, the coffee adjunct really shining here, though combining with the roast provides an abundance of bitterness. The body is a staunch medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a mildly creamy feel. A nice coffee oatmeal stout, to be sure.
