2d review.
a) Pours hazed, apricot color, short white head, little retention and lace.
s) Floral, cirtus, sunny pine and grass, some wood.
t) Throws more wood on, sawdust, pepper, more flowers.
f) Smooth, finishing bitter and clean.
o) West coast being my preference this is an intersting take.

Pours a nearly opaque orange, about 1" off white head, light retention, light lacing. Nose is grapefruit, black pepper, potpourri and perfume, alcohol. Taste is grapefruit flesh, zest, and pith; black pepper; sichuan peppercorn; hint of sweet tropical fruit. Finish is spicy and oddly numbing (not in a horrible way). Mouthfeel is full with soft carbonation. A nice take on the style, though wish the bitterness was ramped up a tad.
