Tasted on tap at Greene Turtle Bar in Hampton, VA. Served in a pint glass and way too cold. Good appearance for a brown ale. No aromas when served this way. Low malt and a hint of roastiness in the flavors. Thin and fizzy mouthfeel. This is pleasant and very drinkable, but more like a light Porter or American Brown than an English one.

I think, while they failed in their efforts to make a brown ale, they accidentally made a pretty decent porter. Not bad, but not to style for a brown ale.
