Can from 7-11
slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Earthy pine and light citrus with bready and a hint of caramel on the nose. Flavor follows the aroma quite well and leaves a lingering bitterness in the finish. Solid IPA from a new to me brewery.

Poured from a can into a goblet. It gushed a bit and left around 3 inches of head. Beer is a slightly hazy amber. Not much of a nose: crackers, bisquit, some faint citrus hops. Taste is some malt up front quickly giving way to a bitter hop finish with a strong grapefruit rind punch. Mouthfeel is a bit heavy and slightly sweet. Overall, beer is ok, but it feels off-balance to me -- a bit too much bitter grapefruit. (I'm not sure how old the can was that I had. I wouldn't mind trying this fresh or on tap.)

A: pours a moderate head that recedes to nothing quickly. Liquid is honey-colored.
S: pine, licorice, herbal medicinal notes. Reminds me of young rye whiskey
T: pine, medicinal hop bite, mint leaf, slight malt profile that is sweet and bready. finish is long but mild, more notes pine, treebark, rye whiskey, still water.
M: extremely light body with light carbonation.
O: not a bad beer. i definitely appreciate the unique take on this well-trod style

Purchased a growler of the first batch. It's an excellent APA, bordering on IPA territory. Solid balance of hop bitterness and aroma. Clarity is superb.
