Pint on draft at the brewhouse in a pretty strange glass.
Appearance: Clear gold with a solid white head. Decent carbonation.
Aroma: Pepper, spice, wheat, toast, maybe some dry burned bread.
Taste: Nice peppery kick. Some lemon. Rye, but not overpowering spice like some ryes have. Dry.
Mouthfeel: Drinkable but with some spice. Not boozy.
Overall: Pleasant rye/wheat ale. Good companion for bar food. The Mason’s brewhouse has lots of that, too!
