It pours a nice gold-blond that is slightly hazy but with a huge head that does not dissipate. Like other "Pale Ale" types it is NOT an IPA and doesn't pretend to be one. It has a nice tingly hop nose with a tingly mouth feel to go with it. The malt is there just enough to keep the hops at bay and to make the finish interesting instead of just hop-bitter. Like other New England pale ales (Whaler's Rise comes to mind) the beer is more refreshing than an IPA but still with satisfying hops character. I am going to get more!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
