Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Creamy and large filling off white head, reaching a good solid four fingers without too much chaos. Fine bubbled with lots of staying power. Turbid and somewhat swamp water brown murky colored, with hints of dark lemon yellow also.
Aroma is a good mix, but sticks to simplicity. Touching caramel malt sweetness with a tea sweet hop flavor. Hints a bit sugary gumdrop like also on the nose.
Palate is light but simple bodied. Flavors hit of tea like orange citrus in the mid palate, a bit of herbal sweetness in hop towards the end. Flirts with an almost session like quality, but doesn't get into richness either.
A fairly unexpected IPA particularly in the NEIPA realm, but drinkable and straight up solid.
