Clear yellow color with plenty of foam in the Affligem chalice. Smooth mouthfeel and nicely carbonated. Quite malty with a taste of corn. There's a sweet undertone to this.
I debated whether this was a Blonde Ale or not. That's what it tastes like. I'm still not convinced Cream Ale is a style, but this is a pleasant malty quaff, so why not? From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery tasting room somewhere in exurbia northwest of Everett.
