Very cool old brick firehouse on the old military base. Place got some fungshui, good energy. Small L-shaped bar seats maybe 10 with a few tables inside and out front. 8 beers and a cider on tap, with additional beers available in cans. Friendly, personable bartender was very informative.

Even though I was here on a low key Thursday afternoon just after they opened, I could tell by the chatter with the customers and the server that this is a happening place when they get revved up. My guess is on a Friday or Saturday night, it would probably be hard to have a conversation. However, what I loved by this place was the low-key music venting from Pandora in a nice rockin'/blues/heavy pop blend that spoke volumes to me. The bar had a lovely wooden well polished look that gave me warm fuzzies of knowing this is the taproom of the future. Beers were absolutely legit as well. The coconut brown ale was one of my favorites! I look forward to my next Plattsburgh trip as I will be sure to make this brewery a stop every time!

a really amazing new little brewery here in plattsburgh on the old military base. its in an old firehouse, free standing, brick and old feeling, cozy, with a really tiny little bar area, an elevated seating area behind it, and brewing equipment visible in behind there. lots of old wood, brick, and north country charm, the vibe in here is exceptional, a great place to drink a beer! the dude behind the bar was the brewer and owner, and he was both knowledgable and kind, and took all our questions with a humble sort of naturalness, thoughtful, cool. the beer was solid, nothing really blew any of us away, but they were well done and fairly inspired as they go. they had a great honey lager, and the strawberry lime beer was also really good, natural and subtle, but the vibe is hard to beat, you could serve me almost anything at this bar and i would be a happy man, which is not a knock on their beer, its all good, but a huge compliment to what they have done with their space. i love these little humble operations, and the more breweries i see around the country and the world, the more i appreciate a place like this for all that it is and even more perhaps all that it is not! one of my favorite brewery visits in the upstate new york region to date, check it out!

It feels like you are hanging out in someone's garage. It's very simple decor with the exception of a cool stained glass window. It's so small you can't help but get to know everyone on the bar. They do a cool flight shaped like a circle. They have six beers on tap with some seasonal varities. No food. Nothing fancy. But a cool place to grab a cold draft.
