A: Pours dark mahogany brown color. A dense, two finger beige head forms with good retention and lace left all the way down the glass.
S: Toasted malts, cereal grains and not a lot else in the nose . A touch bread/biscuit like. Almost to simplistic, but I still find it enjoyable.
T: Cereal grains at first, though more toasted malts, bread and biscuit malts take over after a while. A touch of sweetness. Again, simple but something I enjoy.
M/O: A light to medium body. Well carbonation, almost crisp, but smooth at the same time. Really easy to drink, I can put a few of these back without a thought.
This reminds me of Odell 90 Shilling. A simple malt character that is nothing out of the ordinary, but at the same time just makes me want to keep coming back. A very nice American version of a Scottish Schilling beer.
