25.4oz "tank-fresh" crowler filled at the brewery 12-16-21, opened 12-17-21.
1" white head with good retention, falls slowly to a solid cap.
Brilliant straw gold with excellent clarity. Wispy lines of lacing left behind.
Sulfur, grass/hay, and soft, bready malt.
Hefty noble bitterness - spicy, hay, grass, herbal, etc...soft, slightly sweet malt. Clean and crushable.
Light body, medium carbonation and a close to crisp mouthfeel.
Lingering hop-spice bitterness in a long finish with a touch of malt sweetness.
Outstanding.

Incredibly refreshing daily-drinker. This one goes down super easily after a long day's work in 95-degree Houston heat. It best enjoyed on a backyard patio watching our sky turn from blue, to yellow, to orange and finally dusk... Cheers!

UPDATE--------------------
Not as clean, and way sweeter than it once was. this use to be one of my go to lagers in town. It is still OK, but makes me really miss how the Holler's use to brew...
------------------------------------------------------------
A: Pours with a bit of chilled haze. Though clears up. Straw yellow color with a two finger dense white head. Good retention and lace.
S: Grassy, herbal, spicy Hallertau hops all the way up front. That gives way to cracker, cereal like grains. Really simple, but fantastic.
T: Follows the nose with the German Hallertau hops. Grassy, herbal, spicy with a firm bitterness. Cracker, bready, malts come in for balance. Light lingering bitterness. Love it.
M/O: A light body with beautiful carbonation. So crisp, really clean, and beautifully dry. All day with this one. Something that grows on me every time I have it.
Like all simple beers, this is so incredibly moreish. The more I drink it, the more I want to come back to it. Much like 5 O'Clock. Really impressed they can make a Pils this clean, with no off flavors right from the start. Incredibly well made.
