Poured from tap into a sniffer, 1 finger cream colored head, minimal lacing and retention. Clear amberish golden in the glass. Smells of sweet caramel malt and citrus. Taste is pretty much the same, caramel up front with the citrus coming in the middle, mild bitterness, very drinkable. Nice body and ABV hidden well.

A: Pours a near opaque reddish/orange that is a bit murky. A one finger white head forms and recedes after a minute. Light lace is left behind.
S: Big hoppy and citrus notes up front. Mixed with caramel malts, light dark fruit and lingering bitterness.
T: Like the nose big hoppy citrus, grapefruit bitterness. Caramel malts, a substantial sweetness to help balance the bitterness. Light dark fruits, lingering bitterness.
M/O: A full body with moderate carbonation. A thick, resinous, and sticky body. A touch of warming alcohol, but still good to sip on.
A well made hoppy American Barleywine. Not my favorite interpretation of this style, but they got it right. While, I might not be coming back to this as much as their more subtle styles, still really enjoyable if in the mood for something a bit bigger.
