On tap at Goode Co. Seafood, served in a shaker pint. Pours lightly hazy copper gold with a finger of frothy off white head and dusting of lace. Balanced aroma of biscuit malt, fruit esters and mild spice. Flavor follows with more mixed fruit and yeasty spice held together with a good body of pale malt and grassy, bitter hops. Medium body and refreshing, crisp carbonation. Overall easy drinking while nicely balanced and flavorful. Washed down a dozen Gulf oysters nicely.

Poured from tap into shaker, 1 finger cream colored head, dissipates rapidly, little to no lacing. Pale golden, mildly hazy in the glass. Smells of biscuit, clove and juicy fruit. Taste initially of banana, clove and then flows into lemon, juicy fruit, and as it warms I get a touch of ripe pear. Has a sharp spicy finish. This reminds me of a hefe, saison and Belgian pale mixed together.

A: Pours with maybe to much haze/cloudiness. With a two finger white head that forms and gently recedes to a ring, and some light lace.
S: Oh man, those esters are great. Fruity banana and pears, spicy and peppery clove. Light biscuit malts, and an earthy/grassy/floral bitterness lingers for a bit until the wonderful esters come back. This is great.
T: Like the nose. a ton of awesome ester fruit flavors. Banana, pears, apricot, which is a touch 'juicy" at first. Then peppery spice and clove flavors. That leads to some clean pale malts and grassy bitterness lingering. Excellent.
M/O: A medium body that has high carbonation. This has a wonderful effervescence, which is crisp, clean, smooth at the same time. Finishes ultra dry, which I am always impressed with when lots of fruity esters are about. SO easy and enjoyable to drink. Easily all day with this.
This rivals their Saison as the best Belgian they have made. Everything is really well done. One of the better American versions I have had that is not from Ommegang. Really impressed here, and hope they make this more often. Excellent is all I have to say.
