A: Pours a nearly opaque black color. A tow finger beige head forms and recedes after a minute. Plenty of lace is left behind.
S: Milk chocolate up front. Doughy and minty aromas with some roast. Though doesn't mix all that well.
T: Like the nose plenty of milk chocolate and sweetness. Certainly like liquid thin mints, with a doughy, minty flavor. Which is impressive. They do hit the mark, and with all the additive brewing going on this should fit right in.
M/O: A medium to full body. Well carbonated that is ultra smooth at the same time. Not hard to drink, but not particularly something I am looking to come back to.
I am not the biggest fan of these flavor additive stouts (or any other style for that matter), though this is not bad. As far as a couple of one off experiments to see what happens, this and the Chocolate Razz are not bad. Though neither are anything I would get over the many excellent to style offerings the brewery always has on hand. If you just have to have something different, go for it, but don't forget what they do best...
