This is a new Berliner Weiss fermented with pineapple and mango.
A: Pours a cloudy yellow color. A two finger white head forms, and recedes after a minute. Light lace left behind.
S: There is a subtle minerality in the nose. With tart fruits, certainly the pineapple like juice aroma cuts through the most.
T: Like the nose that pineapple juicy character is most noticeable. A tart and acidic bite builds as this warms. Again, a subtle mineral water like flavor in the background. Very nice.
M/O: A light body that is crisp and effervescent. I really like the carbonation level here. Easy to dink, I can come back to this again and again.
A bit simple, but enjoyable and well done. Hits the spot on these ridiculous summer days in Houston. I will be looking for this more often when at the brewery.
