This was made to benefit CraftPAC, all proceeds go to that cause. This is a Vienna Lager with Citra hops.
A: Pours a clear orange/yellow color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: I get mostly Citra hops up front. With grapefruit and orange rind. Some cereal grain and biscuit like malt in the background, but the hops are the show.
T: Like the nose, plenty of hop character. Grapefruit and orange peal. Lingering bitterness. Again, a touch of cereal and biscuit malts in the background.
M/O: A medium body with good carbonation. There is a soapy and slick feel here, I am assuming from the hops used. Easy enough to drink, but want the malts to shine more, instead of the hops.
Holler doesn't make a bad beer, and this isn't bad at all. Just not what I want in a lager, especially one that claims to be a Vienna Lager. The American hops takes something away for me. Still, this is not bad at all and something that many people will enjoy, as well as being for a great cause. It is just not one of my favorites from the brewery.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
