A: Pours a clear golden/yellow color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: Big citra hop aromas up front. Grapefruit, citrus rind, and then comes a bit of melon/berries..is that a bit of mosaic in there as well?
T: Like the nose, pretty much all hops, with just a touch of bready malt in the background. The citrus, grapefruit, and melon are the show. Lingering bitterness.
M/O: A medium body that is very effervescent. Super crisp and finishes dry. I have had this several times, and it is a pretty good clean IPA.
This is only my second Brut IPA from a Houston brewery. The first from Great Heights. Like that version, I do enjoy this. The effervescent and dry finish keeps drawing me in.
