Poured from tap into tulip, 1/2 finger head, good retention, so so lacing. Blackberry color in the glass, hazy, little light passes thru. Smells of blackberry and lemon. Taste is initially blackberry, tart lemon, very little to saison esters and some residual sweetness , more than I would expect from a saison. Tartness is on the lower end and the finish is again not as dry as I would expect. Nice soft mouthfeel. No resemblance to a saison, but more of a fruited kettle sour.

This is one of their Anniversary beers released on Saturday. A Saison with lacto and blackberry, and black currents.
A: Pours a near opaque crimson red/purple color. At first a two finger pinkish head forms and recedes to nothing pretty quickly. No real lace to speak of.
S: Certainly a fruity berry aroma, that is more jam like than anything. Outside of that, not much in the nose. Not bad, but just average.
T: Up front is that big berry/jam flavor. Acidic, tart, and astringent. An odd sweetness is in there as well. Really one dimensional, and shows itself all at once.
M/O: A medium to full body. Though with the different yeasts, fruit and additives, just muddled. Not that great crisp bite I want with the style. If you think of this as just kind of tart and sweet liquid fruit jam, not hard to drink. Though not something I am coming back to that often.
This is kind of a dud for me. One dimensional, and more of a muddled fruit smoothie than a Saison or Wild Ale. Not for me.
