A new lager for Holler. Apparently this is something they made specifically for the Flying Saucer in downtown Houston. A Dortmunder made with Hallertau Saphir hops.

A: Pours a clear golden/yellow color. A two finger white head forms that gently recedes. A white collar of foam and plenty of lace is left behind.
S: Aromatic hops up front. Spicy, grassy, herbal. Light malts in the nose, but just enough grains to let you know its there. Mostly German hops, and very enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, hops up front. Almost a peppery spice up front, grassy and herbal hops. A slightly sweet, sourdough and biscuit like malt flavor, and a lingering bitterness. Very nice.
M/O: A medium plus body. This has great carbonation, with an effervescent and crisp bite. Supper clean as well. Really enjoyable to drink. I will be coming back to this again soon, a well done lager.

Holler has been killing it with new lagers and German styles lately. Czech My Phone, Semiclassical, and Kathrynator are all top notch. This is equally as good, and really glad they continue to make different styles. Instead of the typical NEIPA, pastry stout, and fruited sour everybody else is doing. Again well done, and another great reason to visit the brewery.
