Poured from can into glass, 1 finger cream colored head, good retention and lacing. Bright opaque orange in the glass, looks like a frozen creamsicle. Smells of ripe pineapple, orange hard candy, peach and some mild underlying dankness. Taste is ripe pineapple in the front, some sweet malt, citrus, ripe peach and a mild bitterness on the finish. Residual grapefruit pith on the palate. Not sure if it is the carbonation, or the hops, but there is slight astringency on the tongue during the sip, which isn't too unpleasant. Pretty beer, and the combination of the astringency, and the residual mild bitterness makes this a good drinking beer. Not overpowering on the sweetness like some are.
