Really thing this falls in line with schwarbier beer. Looks good, light on the nose. Big roast character, coffee, chocolate, low astringency from the roast. Good creamy mouthfeel

Kind of a dark version of Czech My Phone, with roasted malts. Euro Dark Lager is the only category I can think to put this in.
A: Pours a dark black, with some ruby highlights around the edges. A big tan head rises with good retention and lace left behind.
S: Bread and toasted malts up front. Almost roasted and charred. Just a touch of earthy hops.
T: Almost like dry toast here. A bit more roasted malts and light hops.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. Like all lagers made by Holler, this is supremely clean and dry. Almost too dry if there is such a thing. Not hard to drink at all, but I'm looking to have one of their other lagers after I'm done with this.
Not bad at all, and the typical quality I have come to expect from Holler. I find the dry toast character a little off putting, and doesn't hit that perfect black lager sweet spot like Semiclassical. An interesting take, but not their best IMO.
