A: Pours a beautiful hazed golden/yellow color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and light lace left behind.
S: Phenol and ester like up front. Peppermint and lemon rind with just a touch of malt and hops in the finish.
T: Like the nose, the yeast character is the show. Phenols, and fruity esters. Peppermint, lemon rind, and a some banana esters. A touch sweet mid palate and a touch of hops. Though the wonderful yeast characters take over in the finish again.
M/O: A medium body with crisp and effervescent carbonation. Which becomes supper smooth and finishes dry. Incredibly moreish, something I can come back to again and again.
This could probably be labeled a Saison and pretty much hit the style points there as well. I love the yeast character here and another winner from Holler.
