This is a new IPA, that is not a murk bomb, so I am very excited about this one. Strata Hops are used here.
A: Pours mostly clear, with just a touch of what use to be called haze before the latest trend. A white head rises to about a finger with light lace left behind.
S: A pungent and aromatic aroma. Peach, mango, citrus aromas that are great. A bit resinous and dank, and a perfect melding of old world versus new.
T: Follows the nose with a strong pungent/dank/resinous hop flavor. I get peach mango and citrus in spades. Just a touch of caramel malt for balance, and a nice bitterness rounds everything out.
M/O: A medium body that is crisp. Great effervescent carbonation that is super clean. Incredibly easy to drink, very moreish, and I had several at the brewery. Hopefully this sticks around for a while in whatever place a murk bomb would have no doubt taken up space.
Sorry to be blunt to the haze boys, but man I miss clean, well defined, and carbonated IPA's. This is excellent.
