Poured from 16 oz screw top can into tulip, minimal tan head, little retention great lacing. Jet black in the glass, no light passes thru. Chocolate on the nose, underlying roasted malt slight roasted coffee. In your face chocolate on the first sip, roasted malt very little astringency, very clean roast profile. Dark stone fruit comes out as the beer warms, sweetness is there, but not predominate, just enough to take the edge off. Residual chocolate stays on the palate after the finish. Very mild bitterness on the finish. Very easy drinking stout, delivered to my daughters house by the brewer himself. Will probably grab another one of these next week during the quarantine.
