Served on tap at the brewery in a pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a deep gold with very faint haze. 1 finger of head with plenty of lace

Smell: Dank aromas and fresh cut grass

Taste: Similar to the nose with earthy herbal dank flavors.

Mouthfeel: Bitter up front leading to a dry finish. Lingering hop resin flavors

Overall: An incredible lager with balance from the bitter hop flavors. This lager is more satisfying than any session IPA I’ve had.

This is a dry hopped lager with Nelson Sauvin. They did a similar beer a long time ago, when they were doing their dry hopped Pale Lager series. This is a slight retooling of that.

A: Pours with a a bit of haze that clears up after a minute. Golden yellow color. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: All Nelson in the nose, which is good. Peppery spice, grapes, passion fruit. Fairly simple, but also assertive hop character, and can certainly trick people into thinking they have an IPA just from the nose.
T: Again, all grape, peppery spice, and passion fruit. A touch of cracker like malt and bitterness lingers on for both balance and to dry this out.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. This becomes ultra smooth, finishing clean and dry. All day with this, really enjoyable to drink.

From my memory, I remember really liking their dry hopped Pale Lager series, and this is a really good way to bring one of them back. Well done.
