16oz bottle poured into 20oa Duvel tulip. Poured a pleasantly murky dark straw-gold color, with less than a half-inch of white head that that had moderate retention, and no lacing. I sent one of these to @LloydDobler as his "blind beer" in NBS BIF #6: Roadrunner vs Coyote.
This Gose is certainly salty; the fact that the brewery is only a couple miles from the oyster farm ( http://draytonharboroysters.com/ ), from whence the "liquor" was obtained is a clear factor. Nice grain base. Enough salt to notice, but not enough to overwhelm.
Crisp, clean body, with a nice dry finish. I know that this is a sucky review, but, this is a tricky beer to rate. It's enjoyable, I'll grab more. If ya want one, message me.

Blind tasting notes.

Pale yellow with a ton of head. Slightly murky. Soooo freakin foamy. Nose is lemon, poppy, coriander, sourdough. Taste is sour and funky but dry. Tomato??? Sour lemon michelada is my guess. My mind must be playing tricks on me, or something. I had a margarita gose this weekend so the tartness took me right back to there. Gotta take a second pour before ripping off the label. Very salty, so it's a gose for sure. Maybe a kettle soured salted tomato. I really don't fucking know. Chalky and slightly milky. Tasty, but bizarre brew.
