Pours a clear golden color with abundant foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Tastes of berries and sweet bread, but with a tang. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel. Hints of melon and yeast. Aroma of leaf mold and green vegetables with a resiny note.
There is some of the sweet sensation, but there is just enough bitterness. Overall this is a better sort of Blonde Ale. Or different, in any case. Brewed with local malt and hops, they claim. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

16.9oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very cloudy dark yellow color with just shy of 2 inches of white head that had long-lasting retention and moderate lacing.
The aroma had solid grains, lightly floral hops, and a strong yeast presence.
Very similar on the tongue, just a bit bolder and better defined.
The body was on the full side of medium, mostly smooth (a slight touch of yeast bite at the finish), and had a medium finish that dried out after a couple moments.
Drinkability was very nice, a great summer afternoon quaff.
Overall, an enjoyable, easy drinking brew. Certainly worth a grab if you see it.
