Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with light coppery notes and a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale and biscuit malt, grassy and lightly citrus hops, mixed citrus, vague mixed fruit and pie crust. Flavor is biscuit malt, citrus and fruit hops, grapefruit, lemon, mixed fruit, a touch of grassiness and hints of farmhouse yeast. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Well, we're getting through our grief stages and this one has the most noncommercial name of all, but is a pleasant, well bittered IPA with the characteristic yeast has used for these, which tastes like it has some farmhouse wildness to it, but mostly a pilsner style yeast. Good citrus notes and some unidentifiable fruit that suggests Mosaic hops. Great finishing bitterness, which is totally appropriate for depression. I've enjoyed this off-beat IPA series, and look forward to the closure of acceptance. I thought this one hung together better than the earlier versions.
