Our Kölsch is brewed using very traditional methods and presents very similar to those you'd drink in Köln, Germany. Light and crisp with noble hop aroma and flavor. A hit with all beer drinkers!

Clear but sort of filmy pale gold with a thin white head dispersing to a creamy collar.
Taste is light Corn Pops with white grape skin accented by a faint little herbal note in the semi-dry finish.
Mouthfeel is very satisfying and softly crisp on the palate.

On tap at the brewery into a shaker pint glass.
A-The beer has a fat finger of white foam that really sticks around as I drink. It leaves some chunks of lacing on the glass too. I can see a few bubbles in the nearly clear liquid.
S-The aroma is pretty dry and pale, with strong notes of biscuit and saltine cracker, and very little hop aroma. The smell is a little assertive and dry for the style, but I am liking it. Little hints of tree fruit creep in every now again, but there is not much in the way of hop bitterness.
T-The taste tracks the smell closely. Dry, pale malts suggest cracker and grain. A little note of white grape fruitiness lurks in there too. Hops are mild, but a subtle grassy bitterness shows up on the finish.
M-The body is light and drinkable and to style. The carbonation is medium-crisp and moderate in volume.
O-This beer is a pleasant surprise. It lacks the subtlety of a true Kolsch, but I found it easy to drink and quite enjoyable. One of the better US examples of the style that I have had.
