Copenhagen 26/8 2023. 33 cl bottle from Spar, Langestraat, Oostende. Simple drawing of a masked Femme Fatale on the label.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head.Fluffy and stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts mingling with a bit of fruit and alcohol. Light yeasty touch. Sweet pale malts, banana and metallic alcohol. Sourish grainy notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent and pretty straight forward Tripel
