Bottle at Las Buenas Pulgas, served in a trappist glass. Dark brown color, medium head with short retention, average lacing. Aroma of bananas, raisins, chocolate, honey, belgian yeasts. Full body, rough texture, average carbonation. Sweet dry finish. Taste follows the aroma. Very good, though I consider it more a barley wine than a quad.

I had to warm up to this one. The initial taste was very sweet but after a bit I found it much more enjoyable. I've owned it for almost three years . . . not sure if that affected it or not.
