Copenhagen 2/9 2023. 33 cl bottle from Spar, Langestraat, Oostende. Simple black label win green circle stating the name of the beer.
Pours unclear, opaque, murky, golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with alcohol and a sweet, fruity cent. Sweet pale malts, caramel and banana. Sweet honey. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with sweet undertone. Lingers for bit. Finish is semi-dry with touch of alcohol.
Potent and a bit sweet Tripel.
