Dark brown color. Nice, beige head. The aroma of dark fruits, chocolate and roasted malt. Same notes in taste. Moderate sweetness with roasted bitterness at the end. Surprisingly good beer.

Black colour, with clear brownish ruby clearances. Brown foam, low, not persistent.
Aroma roasted, coffee and sweet, chocolatey with hints of dark fruits. Licorice background with ash notes.
Taste dry, bitterness pronounced, roasted, coffee. Not overly long.
Medium saturation upwards. Body medium downwards. Liquid texture smooth. Aftertaste medium long dry, roasted, coffee with a fruity and ashy finish.

Almost black, light brown head, good.
Toasted notes in the nose, grounded coffee, some cocoa. Classic, but ok. A hint of acrid and light astringency, and bitterness, from dark malts. Some green note, root-like.
Same notes in the taste, some cocoa in the aftertaste, again green notes.
Not a masterpiece, but an honest beer.

Bottle share from Jeremy, nice decanter look to this. Pours out very dark brown, slightly muddy capped off with a tan head. Aroma immediately is the roast malts, with a bit of the hop in the background. Roast malts dominate the flavor also, notes of chocolate, coffee and some earthy tastes as well.
