On-tap 1/14/2017 at Pizza J’s in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral hops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a nice burst of floral hops bitterness that is quickly followed by a strong fruity citrus and caramel sweetness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.
