Silkeborg 21/7 2020. 33 cl bottle from Vin & Vin, Østergade, Silkeborg. What looks like small stylized samurais in blue and black on the label. The version I am drinking is classified as a session IPA on the label.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick, frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fairly strong sweet maltiness mingling with lighter notes of citrus fruit. Caramel, cardboard and bread. Sharp notes of citrus concentrate.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not unpleasant but quite sweet and malty for a Session IPA.

330 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Moderate to small white head. Aroma of grassy and peppery hops and yeast. Dry and crisp flavour, hops and yeast again with notes of grass and white pepper.
